BUDS (British University Dry Slope Championships) – this years results

BUDS is a two day event held at the Midlothian dryslope near Edinburgh in the first semester. Over 2000 competitors take part from universities all over the country in events such as slalom, freestyle, and boarder-cross. After the day’s events, there are nights out run by the organisers with big name DJ’s which promise to be completely over the top and hilariously messy.

In the past, UEA Snow have done well at BUDS, with our president, Mary Leishman placing 1st in the Women’s Big Air event in 2013, Mark Lewis-Taylor placing 14th in the Men’s Ski Slalom in 2014, and our ski team reaching the quarter finals in the Team Slalom 2014. You can read a first hand account of BUDS in 2014 below, written by our current promotions secretary.

Thank You For A Lovely Game Of BUDS
