Hailing from the fresh mountain air of Hammersmith, Tom “We All Love Fingering” Arscott is the eloquent president of this fine society.
He’s the token member of our committee that has done a ski season and through this has developed his skills which have been transferred from piste to dry slope. Last year as ski captain, he led his team to the Dry Slope Championships where he did his best and that’s all his mum could’ve ask for.
On top of that, Tom boasts achievements such as most RON votes for a presidency position, grade 5 at recorder and according to a 2009 Facebook post, 80+ friends on Facebook and Myspace.
Outside of UEA Snow, Tom is an engaged member of university life where he can be found beavering away at his studies on floor 02 of the library, meeting with sports execs from across campus, buying a round of 17 shots at Blue Bar (what a legend), or in Emma’s back pocket.
He’s welcoming to all walks of life – unless you declare yourself from London just because you live inside the M25 – so much so that he’s been working on setting up a society called “The 1%” for people like him who’ve arrived at UEA from a public school background.
In summation, he’s adequate.
